Showing the huge improvement in their condition as of late. Both of these horses are special to us! We also have positive news about Country Strut, Junaluska, Brother Deputy and Appleweed. They have been moved to a Spring pasture with lots of grass and we have been able to cut back their grain a bit.

The Story of Olivia’s Herd

The horses in “Olivia’s Herd” are the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation’s horses that are most in need of special care or feeding because of age or other physical condition.
Care for these horses is funded by gifts made to the TRF in memory of Olivia Saylor, who died January 1, 2011 in Charleston, SC. Read the entire story
