Offering your donation is the greatest gift other than ones self to help support any humanitarian relief organization. There are a variety of ways to donate: once or on a continuing basis as in a sponsorship program. Or you can physically adopt or foster a horse in your own care.
Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation could not exist without a network of fine volunteers to help keep our programs running. TRF volunteers are from all over the country. And, while horse experience is always a plus, many people volunteer to help with fundraising activities and administrative work.
Voluneering for TRF is a fun and rewarding experience. For more information, use our “Contact Us” page to describe how you would like to help.
Among our greatest expenses are items we need to keep our herd healthy and happy. TRF always needs a supply of equine first aid items and basic maintenance equipment, like blankets, halters, etc.
You can help by asking your local tack supply or feed store for donations. Many Girl Scout Troops and local 4H and Pony Club organizations organize collections for TRF horses. Contact our main office to see which items are in particularly short supply.
